Hey guys got two races for ya! Im on a trifecta tune by the way.

A few months back I met up with my buddy and a bunch of his friends. The one drives a beautiful APR tuned and fully bolted GTI. We raced twice from a 60 roll on the highway. He had one extra person in his car i had three. Lol. The first race I did not use nls and lost by about a half car length. The second time we raced we again went from a 60 roll but I used the nls feature this time. I put about a car on him before backing off at around 120. We then proceeded to cruise for a few hours. Twas a good time!

The second one is a little better. So this kid had been talking **** and acting like he was the bees ******* knees. I guess he told my buddy he would beat my slobalt, to be fair my buddy told him it was slow lol. So we all met up at sheetz, short stack pulled up in his awd A4 that supposedly had a different turbo on it. Mommy and daddy money. We proceeded out to a sketchy and uneven road. He wanted to race from a dig. I figured I was screwed lol.

We go back to his spot and I don't really feel comfortable racing him. Not because of a loss but the road. In hind site it was a terrible idea. But we lined up, counted down and launched. I had my tune off for the launch because we had been messing with the launch control trying to dial it in but it was set to low. So I had to turn my tune on when I hit 2nd lol. I spun and spun and to my surprise i eventually caught up and passed him at around 70 to 80 mph. I was more focused on the road than the speed.

Then we raced from a 60 roll. I put blimp on him pretty quick. Lol. It was also a good night. He had to take his friend home after that.

One more just for fun! The same night as the A4 me and some buddies were out cruising and my buddy in his Mazda 3 wanted to race. It's an auto n\a lol. I said okay and turned my tune on. We raced from a 50 roll. He began to pull away from me but when boost kicked in I put a car and a half on him. Mind you I didn't leave 5th gear just to give him a chance. Lol.

It's 2015 get a video or some pics. Or people will say it didn't happen. But vs those cars we will believe you lol.

And yes your gut instinct was right. Trust only good flat roads when going WOT. Fwd+widetires+majorTQ= hard time keeping the car on the road = abuse to the tranny = could activate ESC nanny(unless you've got button held in for 10+ seconds, even then nanny is said to still watch over you)

So you went WOT at 50mph in 5th? Consider yourself lucky your trans didn't go right there

High torque at a low rpm puts strain on tranny. Shouldn't mash it WOT until after 3k at the minimum. Maybe higher

Also nls with 3 people in the car and tuned is very bad for the tranny.

I know that. I try not to no lift shift if I don't have too. But that's how I won the race the second time.
