so i get a call from my friend who knows this kid who has a scion with a turbo kit, and he wanted to race. so i said cool, im down

we meet up in a hot spot and we do some quick camera walk around and engine shots, then we hit the road.

1st race i drop it into second and so does he...3 honks and we're off. i almost immediately get a good jump on him and then slowly walk him. end result, about car's length.

2nd race we hit the turnkpike and again second gear. 3 honks and we're off and again i get a good jump as i did b4, almost half a car lenght but then OOP! I MISS 3RD! he managed to catch up on my miss but i still walked him.

3rd race we hit it at 2nd but a dam usp bus gets in the way lol 1-0 for the ups bus. anyways so we try again and its pretty much a stale mate, altough my friend said i pulled a bit more than him.

4th race was baaddddd he wanted to start to 3rd so i said w.e.. i was in buttom end 3rd lol and he pretty much ate me but i slowly started comin up behind him.

p.s. he had the zpi turbo stage 1 at 8psi

 

i tuned a scion tc with a greddy turbo kit. it made 270whp/270wtq after we upgraded the fuel pump. the stock pump couldnt give enough fuel so it ran lean and made 300whp/300wtq with no knock but we didnt let the customer drive the car that way as we felt it wasnt too safe given 91 octane and the summer heat.

i was suprised at how much power the car was able to make. 1st and 2nd gear were completely useless.
