My friend has a s2000 and i am planning to get the cobalt in april. He says that he will beat me but he always loses to another friend in his srt-4. How will I do against him and how do we rate against the s2000?

If you can drive at all you should do very well against him, assuming he's still stock.

"Driver's race". If he knows how to drive he will beat you. Nothing else needs to be said.

agree ^^^ you need to know how to drive and if you do it will then be a drivers race ... provided your friend can at least drive the car

He just got the car used and put a CAI on it. He also just learned to drive stick and tends to mishift alot under pressure. Also if the srt-4 beats him so bad shouldnt we?

were not as fast as the SRT-4 yet. i raced a S2000 from a second gear roll and after about 5 seconds i let off because i had jumped on them so far. and i know they hit it before me because they had a exhaust and it was loud.

So are you saying that you let off because you were so far ahead of him or he was so far ahead of you. And how much slower are we than the srt-4? It cant be that much i think.

we are about .5 stock slower in the 1/4 about 20 RWHP less. there faster stock and many have come ot realize it. and i let off in the race

s2000's are pretty quick...i dunno what would happen

I think the S2K has the edge but it could def be a drivers race
