So im with my friend on pine island road in plantaion Fl, when this guy in his mid to late 40's pulls up next to me in a new civic si. i took a quick look at it and the first thing i see is a type-r sticker. so im like psssh this old guy is a ricer lol. he quietly revs his engine at me and smiles. i drive at the red light normally and i shift into second (driving like i casually do) but i hold it in 2nd to see if he wants to show me what his type-r has. he downshifts and slams on it, when all of the sudden all i can hear is a turbo spooling and him breaking tires. i didnt even try to do anything, i just sat in aawwe and i was like wtf?
pull up next to him and im like, bro what do you got. and he says "a big ass turbo, im pushing 340whp" and im like nice car blah blah. the light turns green and i pull him instantly from the dig (he was spinning, me not so much) for maybe a split second i was in the lead, then he was gone lol. i had fun and i was suprised

yeah, stock Si's are not really on my RADAR either, but they can open up nicely if your pocket is deep enough.
