a tc cobalt ss does not weigh 3970 man...really?

its 2967lbs with a 61/39 weight ratio...

no way you just said that. cobalts can way anywhere between 2890Ib and 3000Ibs.... 2 tons is just assinine.

A Cobalt SS/TC comes in at 2926 LBS
A Mustang GT comes in at 3453 LBS

I would love to run a new 5.0 my buddy ran one in his skittle and pulled about 1.5 cars on him by 120 and I pull about a car on him. If it's stock you should take it from a roll. And they dyno roughly 370/350 stock at the wheels

Stock trap was 112 and tuned trap was 117-120 dont remember exactly Both times middle to high 70s and both o those runs on the stock pirellis

All I kno pre tuned I put down 373whp after tune 409whp that brings it to about 9hp/lb which still impresses me to this day and it's a very modest tune at that the ford racing tune but this thing gets even faster as it gets up to 80 and up 7k redline it's gunna be a drivers race for sure

Well, unless she just wants to do a 4th gear run because 1-3rd gear is shot now in my car...lol

mine didnt do **** when i went into 2nd or 3rd yesterday..just reved and then smelled awful...so yeah im in ***** creek too

Glazed the clutch bad, so 2nd and 3rd can only take 1/4 throttle without slipping until im in 4th...
I never punched it lower than 3500rpms, and i always have great shifts and put it in neutral often to slow down, so there really was nothing i could do to save it...

You would think with the power potential of the SS/TC GM would of put a little bit better clutch that could handle it instead of cheaping out on a lot of things it did with the Cobalt
