he doesn't need a tune if he is running in the 10s through the 1/8th stock, lol

no offense, and I mean this honestly, he needs to learn to drive better.... get more used to stock power, giving him 100 MORE ft-lbs of torque on stock tires isn't going to help him beat this focus guys..... its going to make things worse in trying to launch the car, which he is apparently terrible at

How many times do I have to tell you guys. I wasn't trying to launch the car. At all. The only thing I need to work on is not miss shifting when NLS.

I ran the 10.05 without launching. I've since then been practicing and will be back at the track Thursday. Okay.

Whats up with the 10's?

Seriously for the era / price it came out, the SVT was a great car. I wanna see this.

I didn't launch , and I shifted slow to make sure I didn't miss a gear. And he's probably got me now he's got the smaller pulley. I'd still like to race him stock.

I was kidding about the 10's as you have had to clarify a gazillion times already.
I would race him stock on the auto - x (just ott rear sway), and the stock again for the drags, then tuned for the drags.

Honestly, if you're running a 10.0 1/8th, you need to work on your driving more than anything...

I kid.

What type of supercharger does he have? If its the jackson racing, your going to kill it. If he has the big boost kit, it will be tight but you will pull hard midrange in third. If its the Vortech, it will be a drivers race (hopefully he has the water cooler installed). I was planning on doing that with mine but as I saw that I would only get 210 whp with Jackson racing and maybe 230 at most with Big Boost Kit that would cost $2500. I said **** that and got a different car that would do much better with $2500.

PowerWorks kit . he put a smaller pulley on and now its breaking up like crazy . i took him for a ride in mine and after he said "honestly , if my car was running like it was saturday , i would have pulled the **** out of you just there ." Now he dosent want to race because apparently im no where near a challenge to him , he'd be wasting gas .

I had an 2003 SVT Fongus wen they first came out with the Big Boost Jackson racing kit and was putting down 247 whp and 223 wtq and all possible bolt on's, ran the 1/4 at 13.4's on average but the car does wake up on higher rpm's so u wont be pulling him stock. Get GMS1 or Trifecta/HPtuners and that should be game over, oh yea and practice how to lounge...jk..hehe, either way it should be fun to c.

You should do one before and one after. I mean, you guys are friends, this isn't a grudge match right?

Just tell him you want to be able to compare with and without the tune. You could even do it the same day
