2nd Kill :) Very Suprised

So on my way home from work an evo 8 pulls up next to me and asked me if my car was turbo or supercharged.. I said turbo and he was like want to go on green.. im like yeah I guess I rarely street race ever just take it to the track once or twice at most a year so the road up ahead went from a double lane to single lane so soon as it turns green we both slam it and had him by about 3/4 of a car the entire time he said he just had an exhaust and bov but im not sure.. either way I was extremely impressed with my lnf it gets to underestimated I love it!! sorry just had to share really quick! race was from a dig till about 80-85 max

P.S. Car is bone stock down to the paper filter and my first kill was like an 07 eclispe gt waste of my gas haha

In other words LNF=

Although AWD has potential to launch well.... most people bog them down. Any time spent watching at the track and even there you will notice the majority of evo and wrx drivers bog and have like 2.6 60 foot times.

this times a million. fwd and rwd guys dont get it bc its the opposite for them, if they drop it too high they spin a lot, for awd guys if you dont drop it high enough and slip the clutch enough you bog horribly. this is how i launch at the track and i get consistent 1.7 and 1.8 60 foots in my wrx with street tires and sometimes spinning.
while staging i rev the car to roughly 4500 rpms, once the light turns green i put my foot to the floor while simultaneously letting the clutch slip a bit and once if feel it grab i let the clutch out fully. the key is to keep it above 5k and lightly slip it so youre going at least fast enough to be above 3500 rpms in first with the clutch fully released and obviously just keep it pinned from there and go about your business. this all happens over a split second remember so the clutch isnt slipping for very long at all.

I'm going to call driver mod on the evo driver because if you launch those evo's or sti's correctly you should win every time by at least a car length from the get go against almost anything, especially against a FWD car... and you being stock just convinces me more that he fucked up the launch big time. Nice kill either way.

a evo or sti with a driver mod is evil. ive seen a stage 2 sti pull instant buslengths on a stock c6 z06. the vette was definently faster, but the sti driver was launching damn near redline.
