rx8 : guages, rims, nice exhaust, no passengers,,,, i have a full tank and 2 passengers

so i yell over,,,, "u turbod"

he responds : "no,,, built engine, tranny, borla exhaust and some other ****,,,,,,, 320WHP, i beat a few zo6's"


so i say ****, i wanna get eaten, this is soundin pretty serious

we leave the light and my friend in the passengers seat said "i didn hear em, what does he have done"

i respond "he said he has a built engine, tranny and he wants to get eaten by a cobalt"

we leave, both 2nd gear, hes not shifting, maybe he wants to try me

i yell over,"yo! hit it lets go!!" (rx8 floored) gets a fender ahead, i floor it,,, fender ahead quicly leads to me a fender ahead, then a door ahead, then a car ahead, ran em from about 40 to 80 twice and same results,,,, violently pulled both times


i guess at redliights my car makes 4 n change whp with 60's tune and intake

320whp no way, the rx8 uses the latest rotary engine which may be able to produce that at the crank, but definitely not at the wheels.

omg dude was ******* lying, first of all its no way he was making 320 to the wheel with no forced induction and there is no just thing as building up a rotary engine especially a renesis

but yeah they lost their value hard, i got a 04 touring with 25k miles for $11k almost a year ago

 

Bolt on turbo kits only give them like 40 hp anyway. I like how they look hooked up but Mazda dropped the ball performance wise

 

they are the fastest looking, slow cars lol

 

RX8's are slow (in a straight line) unless they are turboed and even then not so much, good kill!

I always wonder why Mazda went from making a twin turbo RX7 (looked pretty bad ass to me), to an RX8 platform that sucks performance wise.

 

Mazda stoped making the rx-7 because they where not selling, after the 3rd gen Mazda said it would never make a sports car that cost over 30k for the usd maket again.

 

Prices go so low because buying a used RX-8 is about the scariest thing I can think about doing with money.
