it was b/c the rx7 was too expensive to build for the price point they were selling them at
then switched the design over to the rx8 hoping to sway buyer away from the 350z being that they built a sport coupe with back seats and 4 doors, the concept was there just was not excuted correctly

and then they had to halt production b/c the rx8 could not meet emissions

it was a fun car to own expensive but fun to drive around, i miss reving to 9k sometimes lol

 

not true i got mine it was a 1 owner with extermely low miles around 24k or so well taken care of even had the factory plastic on some of the tirm pieces back from when dude first got it

a lot of issues with them came from people just not knowing anything about how the motors worked, flooding them and too dumb to just pick up the manual and read it or even general care maintaince, like checking the oil etc

 

I think the Z06s that driver beat were parked on the side of the road, with no drivers in them.

i doubt the engine is built and i highly doubt its making 320hp to the wheels. RX-8 is not a fast car. just one of those cars that look fast. they don't develop to much tq. cool looking car... not super fast. good kill!! way to put him back in his place even with all the extra weight you were carrying.
