Being a Mustang driver as well as a Cobaltist, I know a few Mustang guys.

There is a friend of mine who has a 90 Cobra. He's down to race anytime, so we had a nice run...or rather a few.

First off, his car sounded gorgeous (SLP exhaust). The car is black and shined up very nicely. He has the explorer intake and 3.73 gears. I think other than that, the car is stock.

We did a pull from 10. I passed fairly easily. They were laughing and smiling at the sound of the supercharger.

Second run. from 40. in mexico. 40 is the worst speed for me. He jumped about half a car ahead immediately. I hit third and started to reel him in. Touched on fourth a bit and passed him by about half a car.

Last run. another 10 run. Again, easy pass. His car was a bit of a late bloomer. He built lots of power past 3,500 but it wasn't enough.

Afterwards, he said he wanted to find some of his friends to race me.

In Canada all fox GT's were called Cobra's.

SC but im on a 2.8, 60's

 

Makes sense then. I can't wait to get my 2.7 and 60#s on. Hehe. People already think my car is fast. Can't wait!!

 

Your racing the wrong guys then..
SS/SC deff has the upperhand on them as far as a few bolt-ons.

yeah the car was probably a gt. those are my favorite styles of mustangs. they are quick cars i think. nice run. my friend has a 2001 cobra 4v and he smoked me from a 60 roll. i think he was playing to his advantages. lol good run nice kill!!

 

My hot spot is 85-90 mph 3rd gear. Yummmmmmmmm. .

my hot spot is 45-50. i get a lot of hit there and a good amount from all the other gears after. Yummmmmmmmmmmm

 

hahaha probably because your making mucho more power then me and spin spin spin from a 40 roll

 

depends on tune lol, even at my low boost settings and low timing ( non agressive shitty tune lol) i still spin in 40 +.. Low boost = 14-15 lbs timing less then stock!!!....... My powa is like 10whp to each wheel man im awd .. jk lol..........
