350Z vs Ion Redline

Not sure on all the mods on the Redline. I know it has a 2.7 pulley, Vibrant header (I'm pretty sure thats what he said) GMPP catback and I assume at least Stage 2 tuning. Only thing I have is a Nismo Short Throw, other than that the 350Z is stock.

We did a 40 roll. We were dead even for a few seconds then I started to pull. Had about 4 cars by 100mph. He also has a GM Stage 3 ECU, so next time he is going to run that and see if it makes a difference. Guess 350Z's can beat SS/SC's after all

HR Z's are a good run for a stage2+ LSJ most of the time. I've beaten up a lot of stock-stage2 balts in the Z.

Yupp the HR is a totally different animal than the DE. The guy with the Ion is a cool dude, he was impressed with the Z. I want to run him again with the Stage 3 ECU in and see if it makes a difference.

And what comments are you going to reserve?

Here is what he sent me this morning and I quote (well copy paste) "Thanks bro,I was super surprised about how your car ran. John told me it was stock with a short throw.I have beat a couple of 350's before but yours has the gift, lol.I was gonna come back and try racing you on stage three but 2 cops passed me as i was changing ECU's so that was my sign, lol.Maybe next time your out."

I saw this race. Actually raced the ION first in my cavy and we had a good run but he beat me, then the 350z and the Ion ran and the 350z beat the ION.

4 cars from 40 to 100? That's a shockingly large lead. I would have thought a 2.7" car would have done a lot better than that against a 103 trap z.

I've trapped mid 106's depends on the weather. My best ET just happened to be on a 103mph day. You of all people should know better than this. Besides, he more than likely needs tuned. I also don't know if he has cooling mods.

I got pulled by a "stock" LNF today.

Also got pulled by a trifecta tuned solstice. Amazingly, the solstice was just about as fast as the cobalt...

I hate it when people lie about their mods. It's only fun/funny when it's obviously untrue. I used to tell people I only had intake and exhaust. Their reactions were priceless when I hit the gas.

I just tell everyone my stuff isn't special and they'll probably beat me. Whether I know they will or not.

Made for good lulz. Not like it was not obvious.

Best one was when some other dude told me he was Stage 2 as well. Turned out he was on an intense stage 3 kit and a 75 shot. I still beat him

He was suprised to say the least.
