I handed you the keys after the race didn't I?? I told you can drive my Cobalt any way you wanted. Traction control on, off, cruise control on/off. However you want it. I have no reason to lie. I even pulled out my PAPER FILTER in front of everyone so you could see it.

Your statement is even more ridiculous since you cannot turn "off" the HPtunes unless you have the software and rewrite the ecm...am I correct?

isnt a stage 2 tune going to run like crap witha 2.7? i very well could be wrong but i didnt think gm was that rich that it would even out. i have a stage 2 puley with custom tuning cai and gmpp catback and im going to run my buddys 03 track edition 350z that has tb spacer intake plenum highflow cat and borla catback, we will see how that goes
to the op .... Z's are quick cars, and should be respected. nice run.

Well I always thought Stage 2 and Stage 3 where the same in street mode with the exception of 100 octane mode and support for a dry shot. So if that is the case without 100 octane there will be no difference.

nah .... GM Stage 3 runs a lot better in 93 octane mode than GM Stage 2. GM Stage 3 runs a 11.4 AFR versus GM Stage 2's 10.6-10.8 AFR (10.8 was my 07' GM Stage 2's AFR). A GM Stage 3 car in 93 octane mode (street mode) will pull about a car or so on a GM Stage 2 car.

Well meet me in Mexico and we can give it a shot!
The other car runs, we will be doing the IC and piping this weekend. And once I figure out how to get an airfilter onto it I will be driving it. And that my friend is one you don't want a piece of!!!
Learn something new everyday. Now I want to give him another run even more.

On what pulley size? A 10.X:1 AFR is richer than an 11.X:1. As far as I know, the stage 2 comes with something like a 3.1 or 3.0" pulley and the stage 3 comes with something slightly smaller. If you saw mid-high 10.X's with the stage 2 and mid 11.X's with the stage 3 on a ~3.0" pulley (I'm assuming you are referring to your 76mm), it would seem the stage 2 tune would be the better bet for a 2.7" as you don't want to go much leaner than a high 11 on a canned tune... It's interesting that stage 3 runs leaner than stage 2.

It doesnt matter if the GM Stage 2 tune runs rich .... it's not smart to run a 2.7 pulley on the gm tune unless its customized and you have 60 lb/hr injectors.

I ran a 10.8 AFR with the 77.9mm (3.067") Stage 2 pulley on the Stage 2 tune (07' revision of the GM Stage 2 tune), and I run a 11.4 AFR with the 76mm (2.99") Stage 3 pulley on the GM Stage 3 tune. GM Stage 3 is a different tune from the GM Stage 2 tune all together. it runs leaner, and has a little more timing (not much, but a little more). I will be trying out 100 octane mode this spring or summer and will be logging my AFR and timing.

Another advantage of GM Stage 3 over GM Stage 2 is the adjustable rev limiter. I have mine set at 7250 rpm, and the extra 250 rpm over GM Stage 2's limiter helps keep the car in its powerband better during shifts.
