First of all, we've been trying to race these two cars for a year or more with no success. One or the other has always broken something when we are hanging out. Most recently we tried at the Indy meet, where we both had clutch melt downs..

The time prior to that, Wicked's roll pin died

... you get the idea.. lol

So, on the way to c-bus for the meet we finally lined them up for our most sucessful race thus far..

65(ish) to 115 (ish) -- I wish there were something more exciting to say about this race.. LOL.. The corn balt was definitely a little faster than mine. My front bumper was at his rear bumper at the end of the race (his started cutting out on top, so we're calling that the end of the race even though i started gaining at that point.. )

I have a 75mm pulley riding in the back seat.. =).. Rematch time?

I believe 06arrivalSC might have a video (he was behind us at the time, and whipped out his phone when he heard me rev match).. it was an impromtu race, so I didn't have the thought of filming it until after the fact.

I got out the phone as quick as i could once i heard the rev-match, it started recording just after you guys stepped on it.

I had even more of a treat, all the way there i was blinded by your diesel-like smoke and then when you guys drilled it i could smell yummy meth and corn

If i knew you guys were gunna run i wouldve gone ahead and filmed as you blew by so it wouldve given a better idea toward the top end of the pull how far Tom was ahead of you or whatever

And we all know pics/vids or it didnt happen, glad i could deliver

Its still not the best quality though, sadly. Me and Tom need to come out for some Big Ugly burgers sometime and hopefully you guys are both up and running 100% and then i can get a good vid or 2 of you guys doing some pulls

This sounds like a good ol' fashioned ***** measuring contest.

 

Well you see, the curse continues. The car misfired like HELL from 5k+ on that run. Didn't do it again that day... Mother ****** I swear we're not meant to have a clean race...

There would be, but 50-90 isn't much of a race lol

 

Do you know why its misfiring? Are you on the stock returnless fuel system? If so is it losing pressure up top?

 

Plugs. Simple fix. But bad timing
