was crusing home from work tonight and was on woodward ave goin bout the speed limit threw the lights when a two tone Mustang GT pulled up along side of me and floored it so his dual cherry bombs made some noise and blew past me. well going the speed limit and crusing threw the lanes to avoid slowing down i caught up to em trying to make it threw a light but alas, that light hit red b4 we got there.i was about 2 feet behind him at the light and watched the lights slowly change and as i started up all i heard was the high revving of his leet 5.0 and i blew past em, he tried to catch up cuz the noise was gettin louder as he tried, was awesome, i kept going and there was no way for him to catch me in that over weight escort witha small v8. kinda made me happy 4 the night

anyone else think that the early nintys late 80s stangs were just heavy escorts?

 

It's hard to tell... The one that looks like it's all ragged out probably runs 11's, whereas one that's super clean might be stuck running 14's (like my old 93 haha). But yeah... Many aren't "slow" - but slow is relative I guess.

Until the 03's came out, I said if I ever got another Mustang, it'd be a 94/95 Cobra. They aren't special stock, but they have a lot of things you can do for relatively cheap.
