At any rate, I'm getting off the freeway late last night. I see a bit of a glint up ahead, and hear the distinct rumble of a car. Naturally curious, I tap the gas a bit and catch up. As I get closer, I notice the kitted back end of an Eclipse. No badges..no paint for that matter. Under construction, I suppose.

Soo...we stop at a light, me behind him...light turns green, I keep a respectable distance as we cruise down one lane...it opens up into two..and I jump up next to him. We roll silently by a CHP hub..and about 200ft past..I start toying. He takes the bait and guns it..but seconds after, we pass a green light to see a huge semi backing into a car dealership. I slow up, he slams his brakes, flies left by me, and proceeds into the opposite lanes, while I'm moving through the suicide lane.

We pass the truck and I slide over to give him room. I hear him gun it, so I follow suite in second gear and proceed to jump a couple cars. I run up to about 70 and shut down, as he obviously isn't giving chase.

All in all a short race, but from the sound of the car, it seemed like a GS with exhaust. However....we rolled up to a light, me in the turning lane, him continuing on. He stomps it as he passes, and I hear, rather clearly, the sound of sucking air. It could have been a turbo, but I'm guessing it was simply a CAI.

Now..I have a question. As he went by, he flashed his hazards twice and flipped them off. Typically, it's a sign of 'winning' in an organized drag situation, or a ricer situation...but since I obviously destroyed him...I just took it as 'Nice run man, peace.' Everyone think that's a fair assumption..or was he being dumb? I suppose it doesn't matter either way, just wondering.

So yeah..my story. w00t.

the klze is nothing to put yourself up against in a 2nd gen GT, the motor has an output of like 200hp i think, im not too good with 2nd gen probes or thier engines for that matter, all i know is that when a klze is put into a 2nd gen....the results are mid-low 14 second times, and add some juice/boost and u got a nasty devil.
