I was on a service road on my way home from school when i saw a TL s-type up in front of me. I passed him not thinking anything of it. All of a sudden i see him speeding up behind me. We pulled up to a light. I was at a little disadvantage because the light was at the top of a hill and i was rolling back a little.

The absolute best part of this story is that his passenger looked over at my car and slid his thumb across his neck to the driver telling him not to try it.

Well the light turned and i instantly pulled a half a car ahead. When i shifted into 2nd i spun my wheels a little (i've only been driving stick for about a month at this time). As soon as i let go of the gas and hit it again i pulled about 2 cars ahead. I was 2 blocks down the road waiting at a light for quite a while for him to show up

Well i was completely stopped at a light for about 10 seconds but the race was only about three blocks. It seemed like a while because i was all jazzed up. It was one of my first races.
