As far as putting the same amount into each motor that would depend on the 2 motor's factory specs. There's some really crappy V8 platforms out there as there are some crappy I4 platforms as well.

it will always be this way. Its simple physics. More displacement means less compression of the aircharge per given volume of air, which results in less power loss, pumping efficiency, and less stress on internals. That will never change

I can take it to the stock V8 Mustangs in the 6. They call it a sport sedan for a reason. With the new cams, it should give me much more high end and raise my redline to 72-7300. I'm excited.
