How do you know it was a turboed Eclipse? Was it AWD? AWD would have given it a big disadvantage...

 

I saw the intercooler when i raced him, and heard it spool up. but i killed him by 5-6 cars as you can see in the video, i was pulling hard on both of them.

Oh, and this guy didnt know how to race, its so stupid. He just down-shifted and went, I had no time to react. We were also going like 80 when we started, which was stupid IMO.

I'm guessing it was modded, since he said he could see the intercooler...that must mean it had a FMIC, cause the stock SMIC you can't see cause of the flap thats in the way. And if it had a FMIC, it should have ran alot better than it did....but every car is different.

True I have to agree with you, but it's getiing so hard these days to tell whether or not a car is turboed because of these CAI that mount in front and look like FMIC.

 

yeah, thats true also, though I haven't seen much of that around here yet. But I have seen 2 Eclipses that are non turbo that have a FMIC on them, just bolted on, not hooked up to anything, just to try and fool people, lol. What a waste!

 

Oh man I know must be the new the style, maybe we should put them on our cars and call them turboed cobalts!
