yea we said we wont claim it until we do...my personal best time so far is 12.7 so with my dr's and new tune i should be mid 12's

I run into respect problems all the time on my local forums. No one wants to hear what a guy driving a cobalt has to say. It really is sad.

 

12.8 @ 114 mph is very good. Imagine some slicks, using no life shift, and a little bit more power. Hell, I would say with another 15-20 wheel horse, slicks, no lift, with traction and you could see 1.6-1.7 60 fts. knocking off a good .04-.07 off his times. Can you say low 12s?

 

he needs more than slicks and 15-20whp to cut 1.6/1.7 60's. It ain't about power or needing extra traction at that point. It's suspension, which is one of the most overlooked things in drag racing.

50 lbs gets dropped off by removing the jack and spare tire, 15 from the Towing brace under the car, over 20 by replacing the catback, 15-20 with headers, it is very easy to drop weight from this car.

I watched an 06 automatic GTO with just underdrive pulley, CAI and trans tune run 12.61 @ 109 on Drag Radials at ATCO in November, seems fast enough for minor mods.

 

slow sho is just mad cuz he drives a gto instead of a corvette lol, and how he has to come on a 4CYL forum to show how fast his car is lol this guy is a joke.

 

There are more SLOW SHO haters than some of you know. His rep is built on waving the BS flag and never having proof to back up any claim he ever makes. My only question is, why do the mods let somebody who only comes on here to start **** continue to do so? Failure to cleanup this site is why many people decide to say F this css.net. Pay attention mods, failure to take care of your vendors customers will eventually end up in a loss of vendors, which means a decrease in revenue.
