There is one result. Just do it. If you lose... shrug your shoulders and say Oh well.

The real question is... ROll or Dig...

And How good of a driver are you?

this is a tough one actually. he can launch harder than you cause of rwd, is lighter (i think), and has more peak power. from a roll i think he still may have you because that car is all top end with very little torque. not sure, but it will most likely be a win for him. try it and see tho. good luck.

when i was stock, i raced a few and never lost. I see them running like 14.6-14.9's at the track
One guy that actually knew how to drive cut a 14.1 but his trap would be about the same as an ss/sc. Just go for it.

The new ones should be a little faster than your stock SS/SC. But u never know when racing!!1 But with the S2, you should be faster if you can drive as good as he can!!

the new 06 S2000 are faster then earlier years...there runnin right around the 14 sec 1/4 times....so if hes a decent driver it will be hard from a dig....and from a roll who knows could go either way.

No they aren't. All years run equally the same times. Only difference between the 00-03's and the 04-up is the different motor. Newer motors are 2.2L giving them a few more lbs of torque for better driveability, with the loss of 1k in the RPM range and shorter gears as well. It's been proven that the earlier years(AP1) have a better top end because of the longer gearing and extra 1k RPM which equates to more VTEC time. In the 2006 model they started Drive By Wire, so they can add traction stability control to the cars.

I took down one no idea what year it was in my eco cav a few weeks ago, i was surprised I pulled on him, granted we were going up a hill, not my fault they are torqueless pansy cars lol

A cobalt SS/SC should destroy one even worse

I'm glad you think they are pansy cars being that they are quick as f*ck and sound amazing. For a car with much less torque, that thing halls *****.

I raced my buddy's and had him by about a car or so through 1 gear until we let off at the bottom of third. He has CAI and full header back catless exhaust. I never underestimate any car.
