How fast are they? I heard through the grapevine some guy was talkin' **** about my balt, and he's got some sporty little Audi, no idea what kind of car it is though :\

Anyony have any feedback on those cars, fast, slow, what?

 

like any other car company, it depends on the model. and what is done for it.

Sportly little audi? Sounds like the TT. They're not that quick, 180 hp I think.

I'm fairly sure that it's stock, lemme see if I can find something like looks like it. I THINK it's an A4, maybe. It's not one of the REALLY nice ones, but it looks kinda sporty. He doesn't make any more money that I do, so it can't be too crazy pricey.

Nah, it's not the TT, it's not the rs series, either.

It looks more like the sedan versions.

I won't even race him probably, at the very least until I get my planned mods done.. do even modded cobalts get blown away?

 

What year A4? Without knowing the model he has, its hard to say the outcome. Bottom line would be no matter what Audi he has, if its chipped, he will probably beat you. If it has anything from APR Performance, your dead no matter what. If its stock you should be ok.

 

I was lookin' over at the audi website, and the base model cars aren't that impressive in the least bit :\

 

my friend has a A4. he has an APR chip, and it is usually a pretty close race, or it used to be when i was stock.

also, if he has the ko4 turbo, he might end up blowing you away.

 

Ya too many unknowns thus far. You need to know year, or atleast which body style, and what engine. I had a buddy of mine that was into Audi tuning and had a pretty sick TT which BTW, the last body style came in either a 1.8 turbo FWD w/180 hp or a 1.8 turbo AWD w/225 hp. They are only a chip away from smackin down around 260 to the wheels and a few more mods and a tune away from close to 280-290 wheel without really breaking a sweat. Then the turbo craps out. But as mentioned above, get some K04 turbos from the older S4 2.8 biturbo models and start laying down 320 plus.

 

Could be an s4.Those cars are no joke.With only a few mods,youll be seeing taillights.

 

and A4 is a 1.8 liter. and thre is another version that is an 2.8. i think the 1.8 has like 160 hp and the 2.8 is like 200 i think.

just rough numbers but like every car depends on year,model, and all that other stuff

 

A4 1.8t a well modded SS should stand a good chance as long as the a4 is running a stock k03, k04 and you're toast.

S4 if its the 2.7 biturbo... chip+exhaust you are toast as well, hell stock they'd prob have a good shot with driver mod, do not under estimate those cars. I have heard of a stage 3 S4 taking down a supercharged e55 amg and keep up with a 911 turbo. The newer V8 S4's aren't that bad either but there aren't as many mods available for them.

almost anything besides an a4 would be considerable. Remember, audi = AWD, and even an A6 is twin turbo. And like somebody else said, throw the ko4 turbos on and its game over.

Nah, it's silver. Supposedly he's said that my car is american built trash and it's the cheapest chevy around and that'd he'd whoop on it easy like.

I don't think he knows the difference between a modded ss/sc and like.. an ls.

We'll see. From memory I'm thinkin' he has an A4, and not one of the uber expensive ones. He makes less than I do. Ume, he's hmx-1 with me, some ******** crew chief.

the 2000 s4 kept up with my balt when i didnt have a tune and just a 2.8 pulley

 

For those of you that were wondering, I just looked at it close up, it's a Audi A4 2.3L Quattro, the only mod I can see is that it looks like the tails are tinted. It is a manual.

Anyone know anything about these cars? Unsure of model year, but I think it's ugly, personally. Definately not one of the newer ones, it's nowhere on Audi's website.

 

my buddy has a newer s4 and its very fast, and his dad has an rs6 and i raced him in my dads 08 vett and cya..

the new s4's have a 4.2l v8
