Audi's
I'm technically out of Quantico, but I work up in the middle of DC. Can't get into any more detail than that.
If I see it someplace outside of work, sure, lol. I haven't ever seen him outside of work.

not to look like a stalker or anything.....but you could always leave at the same time, and once u leave the area just get behind and to the side and take a pic. that might look a little weird though haha.
It's hard to explain. We don't work together every day. He just happens to be at my facility today instead of down at Quantico like normal.
Stouffer: My apartment is down south in Fredericksburg, I take 95/495/295 to work, and 395/95 home.

more details on the car then...
single outlet exhaust? dual tip ? factory or after market?
4 door / 2 door / 3 door hatch?
rim size?
look inside the rims at the brakes...are they big?
also look in the car....
the factory gauges, what's the speedo go up to?
boost gauge?
beefy factory leather wrapped steering wheel?
"S" badging inside?
5 speed / 6 speed / tiptronic?
all helpful clues to figuring out what model it is

Considering you can see the thing from the windows, I was trying not to be too conspicous. From what I saw...
Single exhaust, dual tip on the left side
4 doors
I'd say 16" rims, fairly small disc's all 4 ways
couldn't tell speedo limit, didn't see a boost gauge unless it's somewhere sneaky
5 speed car

my guess is that the small discs say it's NOT an S4....
you're looking at an Audi A4.... I don't recall which exhaust tips came on the 4 cyl vs the V6
anybody out there remember that ?????
depending on the year... you'd only have to worry if it was a turbo model, as the NA 4 cyl's anf V6's were both dogs (especially w/ the quattro pkg which added a bunch of weight and parasitic loss)
I say race him and you should win
well if it's not an Audi.... it could damn near be anything

I'll try to clear some trouble I'm seeing here.
You SURE its a 2.3 and not 2.8? If it is in fact a 2.8 you should be ok, they are slow unless it's supercharged(pes g2 kit makes almost 300 hp).
If its an a4 1.8t with k04 a stage 2 ss can take it, however with a gt28rs and above(which MANY are using now as k04s are basically worthless) itd be a very hard fight.
You can tell its an s4 from an a4 through a few things
1. Bumper
2. Painted lower valences on the s4
3. Plain looking grill on a4
4. Possible chrome/brushed aluminum side mirror caps
5. When looking at the front bumper you'd see the shrouds for the dual side mount intercoolers, a4's have only one on the passenger side I believe.
Stage 1(just chip) s4 CAN lose to a strongly modded ss.
Stage 2+ not so much.
stage 3....ill let the video explain.

Btw APR is the worst chip you can get, very conservative and their numbers are all wrong.

I wont say APR is the worst chip... its not as powerful as a REVO or GIAC + but it is smoother power. the revo if you go and play with the settings on SPS. u can made huge numbers and i mean huge. a friend of mine has every bolt on for his 2.0t gti and had his revo then tuned on a dyno and made 271 whp and 326 wtq.
