Im sorry if this is in the wrong section but i didnt know where else to put it. A fellow employee thinks he can rape me in a race. He has a 92 lincoln continental with the 5.0 liter v8 in it. Supposedly he has a chip in it too. I would think i would win because those cars are like boats but i dont know the specs on it. And also, someone else has a 200x ford f150 harley davison edition with the v8. What do you guys think would win that? And btw, both vehicles that wanna run me are autos. I have an 07 cobalt ss/sc and when i race them ill have an intake, exhaust, stage 2, ingalls dampener. And thats all i can think of now.

X3.... the lincoln will be no problem.. but the harley if tuned/pullied will walk you. it's the lightning motor slightly detuned/ bigger pulley.. if it's the N/A harley you should be fine. and before anyone say's they only came supercharged they started out N/A in i believe 2000, my dad rented an apartment to a guy with an N/A one.. and the supercharged version is an option i believe..

 

nah.. the truck is stock. my buddy didnt do anything with it.. he doesnt even know if hes got the supercharger on it lol. ill find out come spring time though.

 

even so. it's a heavy ass bitch. so with stage 2 and the mod's you got you should pull away no problem. if ya want to get it on film but be safe.. dont take it to high.

i believe you can win...if stock...and considering the weight difference you should be able to walk away...

 

The F-150HD is a nice truck... from 02 and up they were supercharged... the 2000 and 2001 models weren't (dad had one). They're still insanely heavy. If they are modded you might have a fight on your hands... otherwise... forget it.

 

One thing that everyone seems to be in agreement on is that the supercharged version harley truck TUNED is still only a mid-14 sec vehicle. So, correct me if i'm wrong, but if he's getting a Stage2... whether the truck is supercharged or not... he's walking away easily. Stage 2 should put our car in the low14's high 13's correct?

 

Depending purely if the driver can get it there. That is one thing that nobody has touched on, no offence ment but that is a very real concern in every race. The machine can only do what its told to.

 

With regard to the Harley F-150's, here's how to tell them apart and know what they've got:

00 = Supercab... N/A
01 = SuperCrew (Black with Orange and silver stripes along the bottom)... N/A
02 = SuperCrew (Black or Gunmetal with flame decals along the beltline)... S/C
03 = SuperCrew (Black w/ Silvery Stripe along beltline or Two-Tone Siver and Black)... S/C

Supercab = 2 real doors
Supercrew = 4 real doors

N/A = 260hp/~340tq
S/C = 340hp/low-400's tq (Low Boost Lightning Engine)

 

well.. i found out that he doesnt have a supercharger on the f-150. but now theres this little punk ass part timer that started last week. he said my car is junk and he would rape me in his dodge durango.. is this true? all i know is he doesnt have a new one

 

hemi or not, that thing is heavy. tell him to bring it. represent chevy to the fullest. you will leave that monkey at the line. in my time most people who talk trash have something to prove. they have lost in the past. dont talk trash back. just be blunt. say bring it. you will then be calling his bluff of how big of ***** hes got in his suv. if you really want to humiliate him, record it. put it on you-tube. just cover your tags.
