you can call all the b.s. you want.... but if you went to db7tuners.com and saw their time slips, you would sing a different tune. you can make anything fast. you just have to spend more money on some cars to get there. those cars are light, if you put enough power in there they will move.
B.T.W. by the time he hit 3rd gear vtec, the camaro was already buried.
then they raced again from a 65 mph roll... the SS thought he had the advantage.. wrong! he got toasted again.. by less of a distance this time, maybe 3 or 4 cars by the time we got to 125mph.
*the SS was Bone stock. but he still lost

I love cars and have nothing but respect for whatever people want to mod and drive. But these 18 year old punks that roll around in stupid ass 90's civic hatches **** me off. Every one of them is the same...

Cheap ass DIY purple window tint with bubbles all over
Cheap ass fart can with no cat that you can hear from a mile away
Big, wide racing wheels on the rear with stock steelies on the front
At least 8 very noticible dents with spraypaint over the rust
Some with the stupid wing they mount on top of the car

If they knew what their car was and just liked the way their car looks and sounds with the mods..more power to em. But 9 times out of ten they truly believe that their car is fast and they can be truly dangerous in traffic as they try and goad you into racing them.

I have never had a problem with the way the Si's look, and have seen some with visual mods that just look friggen awesome. It's the punks that give the civic crowd a bad name.

I think I would still sing the same tune. Your not getting a 2.2 liter h22a motor into the 12's without forcing air into it. It's too easy to post "time slips" and lie about what you have in your car. My buddy has a 95 h22a prelude v-tec that has "motor work" done and he doesn't even glimpse low 13's.

Already buried huh? And how fast do you think a camaro SS will go in third gear? You might want to look in my garage and think real hard before you try BS me on a N/A h22a smoking an SS. he must have his honda geared for 300 mph if his v-tec just kicked in when the camaro had his car "buried" since a SS with stock gearing hit a good 100mph in third...which means if his v-tec just kicked in (I think the h22a starts at 3500rpms...wow he was doing 100mph in third gear at 3500rpms!!!) that honda must do like 270+mph!!!

And if you tell me the camaro had 2nd gear buried when the honda hit 3500 in third I think I am going to laugh myself in a coma.

Unless you have video of this...I think your full of it...sorry.

IMO.

Money talks bullshit walks. You can build anything to be fast with the right amount of $$$$$. No matter who you are and what you own there will be someone that's got a faster car than yours or building a car that's faster than yours. Well unless you have a Bugatti Veyron, then thats a different story.

Also a car built for the track is different than a car built for the street.

There are a lot of stereotypes about those ricers. Too many people fit them. I have no respect for walking or driving stereotypes. I love my car too much to go half-assed on the mods I put on it. I think that's the real difference between ricers and real car enthusiasts. Ricers put on a fart can and claim to go faster while real car enthusiasts put on a full catback exhaust. There's a big difference in that kind of work.

Thats not low for V-tec...my buddies integra has the VFC set up to engage his V-tec at 3200 RPMS.

Like I said my buddy has the 95 h22a in his prelude. the v-tec starts right around 3500.

^^ Sorry all I've had are B or D series motors in my Hondas and 5000 was the lowest it kicked in in either of them.

I dont see what problem ppl have with the interior of this car, ive sat in an RSX which is the "luxury" brand of honda, I wasnt all that impressed and it was a totally lateral move to the cobalt, as far as speed theres only 2 cars in the class that are faster period and thats the mazda and the srt4,

RSX, Si, focus, sentra spec v, are all just SLOWER
so they can wipe the sand out of thier vag because they are driving a ***** car with no low end power at all

oh yea forgot to mention the entire Scion line, all slow even with TRD parts

Actually I live in Green Bay where the population is well over 150K people and the only sis I am doing is yours

I'm kidding man...chill out...I'm not being an *******..but how can you talk about camaro SS getting smoked by a NA h22a when you don't even know what the hell a Z-28 is..more or less what comes on an SS. Seriously. If you don't even know what a Z-28 is how the hell do you know it was an SS?? Badging? I can put SS badges on my bicycle...that don't mean it has a V-8 in it.

I'm curious what else is done to the engine? Last time I washed my car, I chatted with a guy that had a '98 Civic with an H22 swap + bolt-ons, and his best is a 14.4 in the 1/4. Pretty quick, considering that was in the summer when I didn't see a single ss/sc run below 15 stock, but definitely no Camaro Z28 / SS beater.

BTW 200k is a really small town around here..you guys call that a city? no wonder your q.b. plays in a wheelchair.. he cant find a replacemant. you're still a hick, and i'm an only child

cams and a ported head for sure. we think there was rods and a crankshaft too but, not sure. aas the motor was *borrowed* from someones prelude

since when does rods give you HP? Ported heads? Your not pushing enough air in for that to do much good.

and I certainly hope he had a crankshaft...Cars won't move with out them unless they have a wankel.


But I still think you are "cranking our shafts" by saying this car beat a SS. All this exaggerating, has me thinking there is still some civic owner left in you
