Typical Honda owners are smarted then that. A bunch of my friends have a club here in Dallas. Its all Hondas except one cobalt. They have 2 Si Hatchs that have fully built GSR motors, and a 97 coupe with a GSR swap and they wont race my or the other cobalt and we are just LS models. Hell they even admit that they are not anywhere near fast enough to race us. So last weekend I ligned up about 8 cars behind the fastest Hatch and a rival honda clubs fastest Prelude and lauched when I seen tehm take off I passed them about mid 3rd gear and pulled away from then on. Thats in a LS with mostly bolt ons. Haha Hondas aint got **** and a real Honda racer will tell you they suck unless they have a big turbo on them.

You realize "nasty shots of Nitrous" takes away from them being all-motor??? And 50k???? I would bet about 3/4 of those cars have less than 20k invested TOTAL, car included.

not gonna really change much if they know your spraying.....other than the fact that your lines will be pressurised and your assuring that your nitrous is gonna give you a solid shot....just as a purge is intended to do...

 

offtopic.. me and a bud were shooting the **** one day and a honday boy with a turbo started talking a bunch of crap with us (we were in my 97' dakota pulling a trailo with nothing on it) at the time.. we brushed him off but he wouldnt stop.. so we told him we would be back in about 20 minutes to race if he wanted to.. he said go get whatever ill whip its ass.. sure enough.. we come back he is there.. he sees this


and shuts up and does the whole family guy walking backwards and runs off routine

 

yup there are quite a few faster cars for the money...the GT although it has a bit higher msrp, can be had for under 25k pretty easily because there are a ton of them, while the ss/sc gets marked up a bit. The wrx is faster, the mazdaspeed 3(like he said) the srt-4 (again like he said), the gti, although not faster, they do run mid 14's and are arguably nicer cars, hell, my car can hit 14's stock and easily run a few rsx-s's and it is a good deal cheaper than all those cars. There aren't necessarily a lot of faster cars, but there are big competitors and i wouldn't go as far as calling them ***** cars....really, lots of low end torque in a fwd car is kinda stupid and you shouldn't call them ***** cars for not having it...they just get more traction than you will really. pretty much every car in that "class" is a GREAT car so i dont see why you are ragging on anyone.

 

No ****, of course Honda guys will bitch you out, they have the lowest of EVERYTHING. I'd rather ride in a car with basic interior and gobbs of torque then a car like theirs. An accomplishment for them is chirping second. Slow hunks of **** with an exception os the Si's and the Type S's. Also I do respect the people who are actually into their cars, people who engine swap and build their cars.
