i went to the track a few weeks back. didn't do very well tho. only ran a 14.0 but was trapping 107 and it was i believe a little over 70 degrees. i still have stock mounts and the track was very very sticky so i was wheel hopping very bad. gotta drive 80 miles to and from school everyday so i was afraid to break something with all the hop so i usually take it pretty easy out of the hole.

 

E85....gone!!..............

 

not too shabby on the trap speed your car was walking those guys like they were standing still lol

that sucks about the wheel hopping like a SOB, so much of your time is lost on the launch.

 

I love how the car with the biggest pulley and stock catback pulled hard. Gotta love that E85! I know I do

I have a WOT box but IIRC I didnt NLS that time. I usually pop a flame when I do a 3rd gear pull now days

i think typically u have to be catless. but catless and E85 is the magic firey blend

1LowLs out here in Az in running a catless DP on 91 and he throws fireballs

just got retuned with 6* more timing in the mid range rpms 0 KR. Feels like it would pull a car possibly 2 more than it did.

So the Trifecta tuned 2.8" car was faster then the CCSS3 tuned 2.8" car?

 

Lol no lol... The redline actualy was in front of the trifecta so called car.. then he let off.... If youd like he can come in and comment........... The trifecta so called car was actually a hptuned car that had a. 2.7-2.8 with a full exaust and more mods... Redline has way more miles and the hptuned car has 30 k..... Nick let me know if this is the same guy. Anyways there all tuned by me now relines on e85 and the other has one of my ported blowers and tunes.

 

the owner of the redline was taking the video so he wasn't the one driving. the guy driving his car has a redline also, but it's completely stock other than a muffler so he isn't really used to the one he was driving. and also yes the cobalt had more exhaust work done. I believe the tune on it was a zzp canned tune. the original owner of the redline woulda pulled for sure.

edit: i'm not sure the guy driving was even aware that he could shift at higher than 6.5k either. idk for sure though.

 

Nick, I went from a GMS3 2.99 Pulley to a 2.7 and I have No Belt slip what so ever and Boy was it worth it! I Love it! The Whine is Sooooo LOUD!

will a 2.7 fit the GM pulley hub? that was my other concern.

 

Raced a speed3 (poor mazda)and buddy in the speed said I shot a fireball..yayyy lol
