cobalt ls vs. stepside Z71

Hey guys,
Just thought Id share my story of the night. So a jerk in an old 90's silverado Z71 pulled up. May have had slight mods, and an ugly bi*** in the front. At the light he got the jump on my ecotec cobalt. I think he was surprised when he heard tires roast in 2nd. but we hung the same distance apart until about 45, where i started to pull on him. Then we hit the next light.

I am amazed at my cobalt for pulling that off against a single cab 350.
Just thought Id share

Is this even a kill? I'd consider this a mercy suicide by the Z71! This is a N/A 'balt? If so, then - sorry, my apologies! Nice kill if that's the case!

My bad - rushed right by the ls in the title. Yeah, then its in the "good kill" category. Used to be proud of this stuff myself when I had my 04 Grand Am.....

Yea, I thought he was gonna say like a 09 z71 single cab shortbed. I ran a stage 3 one with my stock tc. Def a fast ****. The 90's z71 trucks aren't real slow tho. My buddy has an 88 Cheyenne with the TBI 350. Pretty fast truck.

the balt was better on fuel than my 944, so its my new daily. Gunna turn the 944 into a track car. As for VW, its been a while since ive owned one but I will never leave VW :p

No one ever tries to race me? Usually because i'm either driving fast cause i'm constantly late for work or just cruising at the speed limit in the right lane? I'm not even sure how to street race

Good kill, and if you can roast tires then grab traction in an LT my SC must be lacking some serious power? I either spin completely or chirp and take off?

well suspension and tires are different, easier to lose traction in an LS than SS

Yeah but power has more to do with the two cars in question..My old 2.8 SC wouldn't even do that..

jesus christ you guys are ******* numb in the head.
I thought this fourm would have more technical people. Im gunna switch to another fourm, you guys are pointless to talk to. Why dont you head to vwvortex and see how a productive fourm is run, not a bunch of idiots.

BTW ill post suspension and tire size differences from the LS and SS, and vid of my roast for all you bitches in disbelief.

Lol. There is nothing good about vortex. Those guys are all idiots and there's nothing technical about putting Corvette wheels on a golf and making them hellaflush.
