Well i steped my car with 205/ 55/16 on the back and 205/50's on the front that with the fack my tires will spin i haven't had wheel hop since. The 1st gear thing is my problem for now with falling out of my powerband but i spin a little into 2nd than play with the clutch to get around that.

Did that give yo the time in your sig or did it improve after that mod? I also agree that GM made the 1st gear a little short or small for the Cobalt SS SC. I think that is why I can spinning the wheels at the top of 1st so easily. In most other cars that I drove it had to me either a V8 and power brake or 4 banger and rev up and pop the clutch. I think that it is cool that we can spin so easily in first but this hurts our 1/4 times a lot. I hope someone can come out with a different 1st gear or for us that would like to get serous with our 1/4 times.

AHAHA nah man those times in my sig where first time at the track all stock WITH a defective cat that broke down and cloged my stock muffler. Thats why my trap is weak. Car would choke by end of 2nd on.

first off toronto is up from where we are. Where in new york. He would have to bring his ass "up" there. Second no one got hot till you said something about hondas and acura or somthing being gay. I can't seem to understand why peolpe are comparing highly moded cars that arn't even their to others. Argue about what you have instead of telling us about how a guy you know through a friends friend has a 800hp Rsx or how a z24 with a turbo can run even with a ss/sc but the z24 is not yours.
