ok so last nite, my friends and i went to a bar to watch some live wrestling event, and while we were there this guy they brought with us started talking **** bout my car "oh that things a slug, i can beat it anyday", so i had enough of it and ask him to run them, my 2.4 VS his BIG V6 "OOHH". we go down this country rd bout 11:30, nobody around so its perfect. we line up, on three honks we took off, i kind-of had a bad hole shot cause front tires bout bald but i still got him off the line, all the way i was just pulling ahead, easy race...it was fun, but then after that his boy wanted to race with his V6 S-10, i said fine lets go, same thing happened with him, beat his ass right off the line, another easy race. but now i just got a call from my buddy and he tells me the kid with the grand am wants a rematch, i asked why, and he says he just ordered NOS today for his car. SO i guess he wants to run them next week sometime, with me not knowing his secret bottle, BUT I KNOW, lol, so what should i do now? run him and see what happens while pretending i dont know bout his bottle? let me know, not much i can do with my car in a week so its staying how it is.

i have a grand am gt as well and the thing is a snail. can't even break into the 15's at the track.

i used to be a grand am owner and a common saying is "2.4>3.4". I had a 2.4 twin cam 5 speed and it actually went pretty damn well for a 4 banger. the 3.1s and 3.4s are pretty much dogs though.

Good kill man. Yeah the grand am's are ****** slow unless you got a crazy setup like supercharged or turbo. I say you should definetly race him again, I destroyed a grand am gt with my 94 nissan altima. If you wanna add a few more hp to your ride you should get the k&n typhoon intake. I got mine from muscleexhaust for $212 and thats the lowest price your gonna get it at. I'm gonna put mine on my g5 gt sedan in the spring time.
