Cobalt SS/TC vs Turbo Hyunda V6 Tiburon

I remember back in like '10 or something when I had my LSJ still, I went to autozone to get some car wash. There was a tib, some other hyundai and a Genesis coupe sitting outside. I went in, got my **** and came out. The guy driving the tib jumps in his car and tries to come out behind me. Get to the light to make my left turn onto the 'hwy'. Light goes green I take off normal, make the turn into the left lane and he darts to the right one and gets on it, I heard a whine but that could of been anything, it was not loud but noticeable. He got a jump as I was not interested at first but I decided to go for it in 2nd and pulled him instantly and just kept going, by the time I got down the road about a mile he was a tiny black spec in the mirror. Thought he might try from a dig but he whipped into a turning lane to drag his tail back to his buddies... probably to tell them he whooped me lol.
I almost got a 2006 or so v6 way before the first cobalt came around. As said, they looked good but something told me not to do it when we got to the paperwork.

I used to have a 2000 tiburon. The ones with the "beta I" engine and no variable valve timing. Its a clone of the mitsu 2.0L engines.
The gearing was really short which is what made the car fun lol. You'd be at 3500rpms at 60mph. rediculous. The 2000 tiburons were like 2600 Ibs and 138 hp.
I had 4-2-1 headers, cat back exhaust, intake, the light weight pulley crap (underdrive, water pump, alternator). Im pretty sure none of that actually added any power to the car and I still think the 4 cylinder 2000 hyudai tiburon was faster than the v6 one.

I remember you from rdtiburon^
I don't remember cudajoe though. Probably a different screen name.
I had a 2001 tiburon for about 8 years before this car, super 60 @15psi, full bolt ons, FIC.
Never dynoed it but being as light as they were it was a fun drive. But nothing near as reliable as a factory turbo car.

The tiburon running the NGM Assassin m90 kit isn't something tto take lightly. Those cars are pretty fast. I'm 100% positive an lsj won't beat one. Not with the m62 and probably not with the tvs either.
