and yea GAGT's have the same shitty 4T45E transmission as automatic 2.2's, we blew 3 in the process, one on a supercharger(the old setup, ran 13.4) and 2 on the new turbo setup so we had one built and it's doing awesome

you wouldn't believe how many people talk down on it and talk ****, this rich kid with a 350z convertible that was automatic(the slowest of the 350z's, thought he coudl take it on)
Well he got assraped, and then he got his daddy's twin turbo lotus espirit out there, he thought it was the fastest **** on wheels, sure it's light, but it's only running 350HP and only runs 13.0 at best 12.9, it also got smoked and he learned what real tuners are all about.

yea, i was around that forum for a few months and went to a few meets down at woodward and it was just a complete waste of time. they are the type of guys who just try to make u feel like **** unless ur car is supercharged or turbo'd..... but then when u wanna go get something to eat they cant afford it cuz they put there life and soul into their cars.

 

yeah, lol. i could care less if it has a blower,turbo,or its na. My g/f has a sunburst orange ls and i love to drive it, it rides so much better than my car and it doesn't make any vibrations its actually nice. i to suffer from putting my life into my car though, tickets got me into trouble so im finally breaking even now starting to put money in the bank

 

yea tickets can kill ya. i figure im young (19 years old) i dont wanna get myself in over my head with a big car payment now and like you said, puttin money in the bank and watchin that bank account grow every week is always fun.

plus with having to go to school full time and playing soccer at macomb takes up most of my time in the fall newayz.

im only 20 myself, but i get payed pretty well at the job im at now so my bills aren't that bad at all. Its just i had 5 tickets in the past year 1 of them was a accident and it cost me like $1400 so i wasn't expecting that but im still ok. watching the bank grow is a good thing though

and it does have a front bumper, lol, i'm just in the process of sanding and painting the intercooler piping black(reduces heat, don't ask me why lol) and am sanding as i type..it makes it easier to get to the intercooler piping and such.

yea newayz, im gettin myself a set of ss/sc springs soon, do u kno ne places in our area that wont tear me a new ******* when im paying to get them put on?

i asked a few guys from that other forum, but of course all they says is "its a 2.2 dont waste ur time", or they just tell me to do it myself . but in all honesty, i dont trust myself enough to do it myself. lol

and damn, that is a sleeper! i would never expect it. normally when i see grand am drivers lookin like hard asses, i just kinda laugh to myself.

 

lol they're not actually as slow stock as you think, this ones running 12's but it ran 15's with just full exhaust

i would never go anywhere to get my stuff put on but i can say don't go to a dealership they are usually the worst

do a motor swap into your car

 

try an aftermarket place that does that stuff..theres plenty around my town, they usually work on rice and are asians but they atleast know how to put springs on right-just make sure you don't let them open your hood.

Into my 2.2? what wwould i put in there? lol

 

yea i found a set on this site with low miles for 65 shipped. i just gotta find a way to get them on the car. lol
