i agree, im not much of a street racer. got a wife and a kid on the way, and getting into trouble for something stupid like that could ruin my career in a heart beat. our track just closed down for good a few weeks ago, and this was one of those moments, away from innocent people which was my main concern.

yea its been that way since iv been here, over 2 years. there has been a couple of red SS's around in the past couple months, but they dont get on here at all. one has a big sticker on his windshield that says "SUPERCHARGER" yes... supercharger, not supersharged... just supercharger. thats about the same as putting "INTAKE" or "EXHAUST" up there. the other one is pretty well known in the 318 community...

+1 I have a 01 GT that I use for a daily driver. Stock they dyno at 170 to 176. They just in the last year got reflash capabilities. Even with that a CAI,h,cbe, they are barely getting 190whp. and that goes for GTS,GT, and fed spec GT. The fastest time I remember seeing for a NA is 14.8. Alot of guys had start dropping the galant v6 in for the torque but still the time was 14.5 at 94. A waste of money for a swap if you ask me, but alot of owners swear that its a lot faster. Im sure the 30+ torque gain feels that way but the numbers tell other wise. They def drive smooth on the highway but they are far away from a tuner car. You would have better luck with the Eclipse GS boosted. As for 300whp your buddy is on one. No one is even close to those numbers NA even the couple of people that went with a built block
