Cobalt vs Pullied Cobra
the reason i say it is simple. a friend of mine with the black 03 with the cobra r hood put down 480whp. it took him till 140 to pull me. the black 03 is faster than the vert. he suddenly starts putting cars on you? you have more power than i did with this setup.

Congrats OP, you did pretty well.
FYI a 75 shot wouldn't have made a big enough difference to sway the result of that race. Small shots are great for turbo cars, not much of an effect on N/A or blower cars.
Uhhhhh, it's not a GT if it's a Roush, unless the guy threw a roush blower on a GT.

anyways, are you still running the stock clutch, it sounds like it's slipping like a ****. and the cobra did look like he sprayed right before you let off, he probably felt bad for not being able to make your little cobalt look bad and had to crack the bottle to prove self worth

I'm not trying to say his Cobalt is slow, but it's the same thing when I run a C6 Z06. They're more aerodynamic and better geared on the highway so as speeds go up I pull less and less.
03/04 Cobras do not do well down low, 3rd gear on up an 03/04 Cobra is a beast though.
My Cobalt felt very strong through 1st and 2nd gears while it started to lack in 3rd and 4th, my Cobra feels rather pathetic through 1st and 2nd gears compared to 3rd and 4th.
So Area, you're saying the cobra must be spraying to pull the OP? How much power is the OP laying down and has he been to the track or is this just more speculation like the last time we talked about yours and elite's cars? A 75 shot + 2.8 cobra is a mid-high 12X trap car, just to clarify.
Details? I just find it staggering that he posts about getting pulled by an n/a TA from a 40 roll and it's impossible that this cobra wasn't on the juice when he got the jump on the cobalt's shift and the balt bounced off the limiter a shift later. A little inconsistency imo. What did the TA have a flux capacitor?
