Had some races tonight! First was my buddies LSJ cobalt. 2.8 pulley M62 on E85.

45ish - 110 mph we were dead even.

The other was an EVO 8. Not sure on mods but had couple things done. Dig to 80 MPH. First one I freight trained him (complained of clutch issue). 2nd race was the good one, I got him by about a car.

My mods are 2.8 pulley M62, LSJION ported head, ZZP valve springs (shifting at 7k for now), forged internals stock compression.

2.2 LAP Auto.

I'm SUPER happy with results!

Also totally forgot about my EVO X race too. Stock with 5 speed...demolished him too (seeing if theres video of it) (he also complained of an issue in 3rd gear)

You didn't lose by a car on the second race. Maybe by half a car. Porting the head must've really helped you out. Gets me excited to see what I will be able to do with all my port work. What's the specs on your bottom end and cams?

 

Just your normal wiseco and eagle setup...stock 10:1 compression. Cams are stock since I have VVT.

Video doesnt do justice...it was a car by the end of the race.
