were hanging out at one of the local spots and a silver srt4 that is just loud as hell, rolls in and is revving it up... flames were popping out the exhaust, it was rumbling everything there... crazy ass ride.... so his friend is asking if anyone wants to race.... I say im about to leave, so ill race and then i gotta jet... we talk about what he has done... bigger turbo, pushing 25 lbs of boost, exhaust, header,intake, wastegate acuator, bov, some sort of tuning system, boost controller... and thats about all i caught.... So i knew this race was over before it started... we went out to the freeway and did 2 runs from 40.... i could hold him through 2nd and part way through 3rd, but after his turbo spooled up in whatever gear he was in, he pulled on me hard! by the time we hit the end of 3rd he had 2 cars on me and was still pulling, but not as fast.... like i said... tried it twice and same exact results both times... guys were nice though....

so all in all i got my ass handed to me by a hella built srt4.

i would say you could ask fsickness or spectral, but they either couldnt keep up, or didnt keep up...

Ouch, SRTs can be pretty damn fast man. Its cool, cant win them all.

 

the reason i used demolished is because when we shut it down he was still pulling.

 

He may have also been running 100 octane if he was shooting flames out the tails that makes a difference

 

Some SRT-4's give the illusion that it's sick and shoots flame by using the spark plug truck in the exhaust. I see a few of them every weekend still running on a 50 trim. I've only come across a few Stage 3 kiddies. Most guys only have stage 2 max or some variation they created.

 

its easy to shoot flames out the back get a catless, mufflerless exhaust and go to town on the rev limiter

 

Nah I was chillin w/ the other SRT-4 we were just watching the fireworks show from the tail pipes...lol...it was hella insane.

 

Most srt4s shoot flames because they have exhausts w/o any restrictions. I shoot flames and I'm stock turbo.

lmao i wanna turbo it but i can only boost 5psi 7 at the most unless i upgrade internals which since its a daewoo engine will take forever to get shipped over here....not to mention the motor and tranny mounts ill need lol.

Well, if you're gonna get beat by a neon, might as well be a sick one. lol...I would rather know that the first one to beat me had a turbo swap and all kinds of other goodies then be beat by a stock one ya know? I've taken down 3 so far, the most modded one had stg2..I have a local guy callin me out now. lol..Damn I need a tune
