Did I actually Win?
Tonight I think I raced and beat a CTS 5 spd. I am pretty sure I won because she was spinning it in second and what not. We raced a couple of times. I think she was trying cause she was keeping up but I was still pulling ahead?
Do you guys think this was possible?
I drive an auto 2.2 with resonator delete and k&n filter.

no, no northstar
v6's,
chances of her trying. highly unlikely. the base one goes mid 15's and the performance one 3.9 240hp ones does 14's. then the CTS V does 12's. god that thing is a beast. love it.

Actually, they make a 5 speed CTS. The only way you can get a v8 in a CTS is if you have the V-series, and that comes with a 6speed. But honestly, i've driven many a CTS before, and the auto's are faster than the 5 speed's.

its a 3.6 and its 255 hp and the V is more like a mid 13 car ... what was it you were saying in the other thread about knowing your competition when I had published times ?? thats what I thought..

She wasn't impressing me very much at all with her attempts, I kinda thought she wasn't trying but the reason I ask is because I could really hear the engine reving and she was spinning it and ****.

Thanks, I'm not making it up, I'm genuinely curious if I had a chance or not, because I always thought those cars were fast no matter what powerplant they had.

All the CTS's are generally quick, but it sounds like you had this one beat. It was probably the 2.8 liter. As 03EBZ06 said, its a very heavy car. My friend's dad has one (wow that sounds pathetic), its quick, but its nothing special. I think it's the 3.6 liter.
