First one. 01 Civic 2 door EX (CAI and exhuast) vs. 07 cobalt LS
Well it started, he was at work. Talking a crap load of stuff about my car and how "v-tech would own me" Well a few days go by, and now im sick of hearing it. Call him up, head it out. This would be my first race too. Clutch in. Radio off, heat off. Put it in first. Rev up to 2500 and hold it there. At this point i swear it was the slowest 3 seconds of my life. Hearts just pumping, i can feel sweat on the back of my forehead. Person who is starting us, Arms up....and down. Bam!
Were off.
Nice clean launch. Wind out first. VREEEN VREEEN VREEN!

****! Didn't hold the clutch long enough. There went that race. Well on the way back, i told him i missed second. We go again from a 10mph roll. In first.
Honk, honk,......honk. A little chirp roars from my tires. 6 grand, 6250 aprox, shift. 2nd the tires just scream and im off.
After that i gained away from him the whole time. Ended up winning by 1.5 lengths.
I can never remember a time my clutch leg was so shakey, so shakey i killed it going back to town

2nd race. Messing around on the highway against a older WRX.
Alright i'm gonna start off by saying that im ALMOST 100% positive that he was racing.

I notice headlights WAY off in mirror. Next thing i notice is a car flying by me, well i down shift and pursuit. Turns out its a WRX. Gold rims, wing. I get ahead of him, he downshifts. Im at 60mph, so im safe to go to 3rd. I proceed and hes coming up on me til about 90, then its even and i start slowly pulling away.
wtf, i thought. I have 4 people in my car and im pulling away?
No way. I guess i wont know, he didn't wanna go after that, but he proceeded to fly by me and put his hazards on after i exited to my town.

What do you think, think the WRX was trying or just messing around?
i my self couldn't believe i won, esspecially with 4 people in the car.

I totally agree with the whole "track" thing.
But i dont wanna pay 37 plus gas to go to the track everytime i race.

I dont like to race much on public roads just for the sake of pedestrians, cars, hitting crap.

 

I hear you. Now start modding and increase the car lengths on the civic!

 

Say the wrx had a wing and gold rims? Most likely a STi. If it was, then he was playing around. Some wrx's though have been known to look like STi's so who knows. Good kill.

 

Yeah...my goal for now is to keep the car on the road. hah
But soon enough stuff is coming. Ohh..the civic wont race me anymore because i beat him once and he "beat" me once.

But yes..i saw the gold rims and waht looked like a wing. My friend who also saw him, said he saw the wing. Maybe a look-alike. Who knows..he probably was just messing around because WRXs' still have a nice kick.
