Bout 1.45am headin home from watchin ufc at a buddies and i looked over and saw a shiny black E46 M3 with 19" chrome wheels and sounded stock exhaust. Shifted 1st-2nd then bout 30mph saw him kinda pedal it so i hit the gas and he matched it. Next thing i know hes at my fender then top of 3rd hes at my front bumper ended up 1 1/2 cars by 120mph. Note i shifted early from 3rd to 4th prolie woulda been 1 car. Anyways it got my adrenaline up gave him a wave and headed on the freeway.

I work at the local BMW here so i get to drive all BMWs. And there pretty quick bout 337 crank hp and i think a lil over 300lb tq.

Stage 2 w/2.85, HPT,aem intake with K&N filter,big bore throttle body, 1 step cold plugs, 3" catback... Also lowered on progress with sms strut bar but those are my performance mods above! I got a lot of other mods but ya.

 

M3s are ******* SICK! Awesome vehicles and very fun to drive, especially with the optional SMGs. Anything besides a straight line, that M3 would smoke a Cobalt SS... which is saying something, cuz Cobalt SS does give up much for the drag strip from the road tracks. Handles very nice, but the M3 is just a truly classy piece of machinery. And yes, You could have about 2 and half (shrug) new cobalts for one new M3 fully loaded, but hey... silly Germans!

 

I ran against my friend who has a MS3. ITS LIKE A FREAKING ROCKET! Whew, after that night...Major Respect.

 

Thats not a bad run at all man! Stock the E46 M3 is a 13.1 car! I'd say you did damn good.

 

Ya well 1.)There were no honks and iwas in 2nd about 30 not 40mph and then 2.)The road wasn't straight and prolie 80% smooth and who knows if he was WOT but he was racing cuz who plays around at 120mph lol. Ill rematch him at a 40 roll lol.
