finally lost to a camaro lol (no video)
went to mexico yet again.
this time im running a ls1 camaro which has a 3 speed tranny swap (racing trans), hot cam, intake, tune, slicks and skinnies, major weight reduction (car weighs 3200 with driver and gas)
we just did 2 40 rolls. both were the same. i honk it off, he pulls a half car to a car because im spinning. once i hook i stop his pull. he stays put till about 100 where he ever so slowly starts creeping away, but we shut down at 140ish where his gearing dies off with him a car ahead.
we should have done a 60 roll so i dont spin, plus 40 is his sweet spot with this gearing.
i have no doubt in my mind that we would have been dead even, or i probably would have even pulled if i had better tires and didnt spin in 2nd.
his car consistently runs high 11's at about 114-116. (would probably be low 11's at sea level)
