in ur initial post u stated his gtp dyno'd at 221 tq/ 220 hp or w.e. u do know from factory they come with 250 hp / 240 tq or w.e... maybe u typed it wrong? idk

 

Tranny will downshift if its not around 3500rpm

 

the GTP's came with 240bhp and 280lb-ft tq stock, and the later models 3800 GTP's came with 260bhp and 280lb-ft tq stock.

i have seen the earlier GTP's with the 240bhp engine put down around 190whp and 220wtq (STOCK) on many occasions. i have never seen what the later 260bhp GTP's put down.

 

i know what i put, thats what he dynoed. im aware of what they come with factory as well. It does not pull like a factory car i know that. the numbers still have me stumped

Freds had a dyno for a few months now, its the same dyno.

 

i was there, saw the numbers myself. i honestly had forgotten what the gtp's were rated at, so i didn't have the shock and awe that the other 3 people there had, but i do remember hp being 222 after i think the 2nd pull.

 

I forgot what the other GTP put down that he had dynoed there, 249?

 

i don't remember the other gtp, i may have taken off at that point. i know fred couldn't believe how low the numbers were though, and he was saying it had to be an extremely safe tune.

 

I made more than 220whp on the stock pulley, with no tune or headers. I have no idea why this kid thinks he could beat me...

found out today the car has a blown headgasket and oil is leaking from somewhere around the oil pan fred and everyone at the dyno saw the oil leak. and slow sho believe me i don't run i was down to race at anytime anyday i was down. kevin said he did not hear from you till the day i was leaving to come home i was only down for 2 days. and believe me slow sho i race anyone i dont care if i know im going to get crushed i still will for fun. and you think im stupid you dont say all the mods done to your car.

Bottom line is, his car isn't even running right, put down nothing for power and he' STILL yapping about how he'd beat me.
