Tryin to find the guy I raced tonight. He had a black SS\TC Trifecta tune, intercooler, and something by Hahn. After the race we only had a minute to talk at a light where he told me his mods and just that he posted on a forum which I asumed it was this one. We lined up at a light and he asked me if I was down lol! I was like absolutely and light turn green and I instantly had a few cars(AWD), but at about 70 he started to gain. Race ended when he shut down he was about a car behind me. I have no idea what mph we went to because a side affect of having a high stall torque converter in a TBSS is if you WOT from a stop you loose your speedo until you let off the throttle. This SS\TC gave me a better race then my friends 07 Stang GT.

 

psh your AWD and I believe a Handicap comes into play here

For some reason this race doesn't seem very believable.

I highly doubt your SS blazer traps any where near 110. A cobalt turbo with a tune and minor bolt ons will be right around 300WHP.

Im sorry but 300WHP in a 2900 LB car is a WAY greater then 350-370 WHP in an AWD Autotragic 4500 LB brick.

Handicap?! pshh go out and buy an awd car then if you dont like it. When I had my Cobalt SS\SC I did ask an Sti for handicap and get laughed at.

 

TB SS's are a bit faster than you think..... I almost got one instead of my SS, but gas mileage and handling was a bit more important to me. They are already well into the 11's with a few mods

 

Yes a 5000lbs SUV is not a roll racer unless you go boost or nitrous.

Pass Time had 2 TBSS's square off-I think their combined time was 23 something(one was 500hp the other 600+). Yikes.
