First "kill" with the TVS!!!
Well I just picked up my first kill with the TVS setup and it felt great!
Was driving home on 55 South and I'm in the "slow" lane and I see Mustang lights speeding up behind me. The guy goes by but then brakes and gets back to my speed. I slow down to 60, he hit's it and so do I. By the time I hit 80 I am going by him, by 100 I have a car and by 120 I have 2 cars! I pull off with the kid and find out it's an 07 GT with intake, exhaust and tune. Gonna try and set up another race and get it on camera. Felt great to finally open up the TVS and meth!!!

60mph is not a good spot for a roll with the TVS. He should have done a 40 roll and been in second gear. At 60 he was probably in third and bogging at lower rpms, thats why it took a bit for him to pull on him. The gearing of our cars is different and a 60 roll which is good for yall isnt so good for us. And judging from his mods list hes probably on a fairly conservative pulley

The pumps arent shitty.... They are very good actually.
The pump has brushes, brushes wear out.
It is a cheap & easy part to replace as well.
Pick up an interceptor, and log your IAT2's. That is one of the best ways to avoid/catch pump failure.

It wasn't typical at all. I have a aeroforce and on my way to him (400 miles) with my ported m62 and and 2.9 with dual pass/option b and s3 heat exchanger my iat2's never reached above 84* while the temperature outside was about 69*. When we put the TVS and started tuning the pump went out. I am not an idiot, if my pump would have been bad I would have changed it before I went there. Since it went bad while we were there he set me up with a mild tune that would be good for when I put my new IC pump in, which was about 2 days later
Its not like I go around speeding through traffic and looking for a race. I have a TVS on my car and its the first time I have ever run it. I think thats pretty damn mature and careful on my part. BTW it's the second time I have ran my car in general
