going down the road yesterday after work and i see a brand new camaro ss. i pull up to him and try to get him to look over. eventually he does and i give a little rev. he just smiles. i continue to rev, and speed up a little trying to get him to bite. not much happening. i roll down my window, and he does the same. we are yelling back and forth at each other. (we were doing 60MPH down the road). i say to him let's have a little fun. he says what is that thing. i said a new turbo cobalt. (i'm debadged and a 4 door). he said man i'd love to, but it's brand new and not even broken in yet. i'm like damn, i have all the luck. he ended up jumping on it just a little bit. (we were just playing around, no race).
we got stopped at a light and he was turning. he said well maybe we will meet up again after i get this thing broken in and have some real fun. i said yeah that would be cool. light turned green and he flashed a big smile and waved goodbye. he burned the tires just a little bit. he was an older guy (early 50's?). this dude was pretty cool in my book. i know it's not a real "war" story, but i keep trying!

 

lol yeah atleast he wasn't a dick like some of the guys can be that have v-8s and just assume when they see are cars its slow

So when he breaks it in hopefully you meet up with him again and pounce on that thing haha another big brother going down

 

no he wasn't a dick at all. he seemed really cool, even like he wanted to race but couldn't.
i'm thinking if we do meet up again i will have a nice war story. (and hopefully i will win).

 

if the OP traps 110 it should be a dead even race.

They arent the best for traction. But it sounds like this would have been a roll race, so he should have been fine.
