So I'm driving home and I have my wife in the car with me. She hates it when I race, but this punk ass 240 pulls up to me at a red and starts revving his car. So my wife was all like you better beat him(LOL). I thought he was gonna spank me, but I got the jump on the green and had him for about a car till the next light. Needless to say the dude was pissed off and wanted to race again. So this time I only got him by a half. So when we get to the next red, he asked me what i had(STOCK), so he was all like Oh...me too. LOL. I beat him again! I guess that's what he gets for thring to show off in front of my girl.LOL

yea they slow stock, but turboed theuy can easily reach 300 rwhp with 10-15 psi

 

heck buy a 2000 dollar 240 and buy the sr20det swap for like 3 grand and swap it put a fpr on it and a walbro 255lph and turn boost to 9-10 psi wit a mbc and have a beast that wil take out most stg2 balts....

 

Yep, and the guy who buys that car is either buying it for the sole purpose of boosting the hell out of it, or he's buying it 'cause he thinks he got a ferrari killer for 2 grand and can't afford to mod it right. Unfortunately I'd say most buyers of the 240's are in the latter category. The ones that do turn them into lightning on wheels have my respect, there just don't seem to be too many of 'em anymore, at least not in my area anyway.

 

Yeah, the guy said it was all stock, but he had a killer exhaust and you could hear the intake when we took off. It was loud as hell.
