dig or roll(40) SC wins til 100

60+ .... tc

when i was custom tuned on 2.8 similar mods i dominated til 110... then tc would over-take me.

methanol made it so it didnt matter.... 5 cars, unless i had a 200 lbs passenger, then it was driver's race with tc slight edge.

Are you tuned?

Before I was tuned I basically had the same set-up as you and was door to door with one. They are quick...

..and I thought I was going to show this kid the difference between Supercharger-instant-torque and turbo-lag............it didn't happen, brother. They have no lag!

Might want to get that thing tuned before you do this.

lotta people think s2 is even with the tc but it isnt the case. s2 vs tc alone is 2-4 car loss to 100.

I don't know about that. But the S2 is RATED (and we all know how accurate ratings are) at 15 less horses than the LNF. So, actuall wheel numbers are probably even greater in the favor of the LNF; S2 v. LNF.

friend's tc does it consistently. those things are quick compared to standard s2.

yeah, i was definitely suprised when I ran that one. I was really thinking I was going to pull on him and make him respect the fact that the SS/SC has been out longer and we have mods..............didn't happen...lol.

someone correct me if I'm wrong. But heat soak isn't point you reach in your powerband. It's a consequence of a supercharged engine. We get boost right away but we're known for heat soak.......i.e. we run hot and not so efficient. Heat soak is a result of back to back runs due to the stress a Supercharger puts on an engine.

Example:

I did three pulls on a dyno and gained more power by my third pull. If I would have continued to do pulls I eventually would have lost power due to heat soak. has nothing to do with power up top.

H/E will help you not lose AS BADLY as without by the top of 3rd. Keep in mind the ONLY thing that will keep you from losing at the top of 3rd is having a HUGE lead before the top of 3rd hits or methanol. Otherwise your just dragging that SC along for the ride.

Too many factors affect a supercharger vs a turbocharger. Our top poses ALOT of problems for us.

If its a 40 roll you will get him through 2nd off the bat....by the middle of 3rd expect him to reel you in. If your not ahead by the end of 2nd you might as well just shut it down then.

yup it sure will. If it was summer time...ewww.

Im predicting 3/4 car lead by the end of 2nd, by the end of 3rd he will get a 1-2 car ahead. Then again he could be a crap driver and you will dominate.

what size injectors do you have on that Stage 1, does gm give you the 42's with that?

and did you say you were tuned or no?

meh... HOPEFULLY you will pull by the end of 2nd. i didnt keep the gm tune for longer than a week and never raced a tc when i did have it.

42s are fine for 2.9 but still borderline. Actually.... thinking back on how i DESTROY stage 2s easily.... it may be wishful thinking.

so then, yeah, same thing as me. I'll tell you what will give you an advantage:

7000rpm redline. when he's shifting, you're still going. may give you enough of an edge to make it a closer race.
