we should be racing tonight but we are not sure because it is a holiday week end

 

it may be a freak. Ive seen stock TC's stay dead even with stage 1 balts.

 

and one of my other friends might be racing also he has the same mods as me but i think he said he has some kind of aem tuner or something i had no idea what he was talking about

 

I would say win for the tc but this guy sounds like a panzy so who knows. I had pretty much the same mods on my sc at one point, and my tc is without a doubt much faster. Especially from a dig . With those mods I just can't see the tq being high enough on the sc to pull him out of the hole. If you run a ricer 40 roll though he should slowly pull. I used to be able to launch my sc, but nothing compared to the tc. If this guy can drive I smell a win for the tc.

 

well it is going to be from a 40 and it will be happening around 10 or 10:30 tonight

 

The "roll race" is in you're favor though so good luck. If you're gonna beat him this will be the race.

nice kill 2 outta 3 aint bad i have less mods then you and i can keep up with stock TCs so you should beat him most of the time

 

Guess that answers the question. Though you can look at the 1/4 list and the average SS/TC stock traps is comparable to a well driven S2 car.

You said his car was brand new? If I'm not mistaken the boost is limited until the car breaks in.

Was he no lift shifting (keeping boost up?) Looks like he wasnt. Makes a huge diff btw.
Awesome to see the SC's still rolling well, although I would have preferred to see a real race from a dig. Now, race through some twisting too. 40 rolls are fun and stuff though. Good on ya man!
Now tune and mod that TC and run again... lol

 

i didnt want to do a dig because my clutch is starting to slip and i dont want to mess it up and he no shift lifted the last race but i dont think he did on the first 2

 

I know I'm reviving the **** out of this thread, but.....

Earlier in this thread I refered to a race I had with a TC before I was tuned and it wasn't nearly long enough to establish anything and I kept wishing I'd run into him again.......well......I finally did.......

I raced him from 2nd straight through 3rd, which would include that 3rd gear that was supposed to be the "pwn all" gear.

I pulled on him hard and kept pulling. Shut down around 110 and had him by at least 2 cars and still pulling.

So, the mystery for me is over. With the mods I have below I easily beat one.

To the OP: go off of my mods for a closer reference of what you'll need....if he ever races you. I'm not too heavily modded.

 

the only thing you have that i dont is a custom tune and you have a gmpp exhaust witch is only a 2.25 exhaust not a 2.5 like my magnaflow and you have an airbox mod and i have a injen intake so if i get a custom tune i should be able to make more power then you

No I read it... he can't drive worth a ****... his 2-3 shifts kill him and he falls on his face!

 

i know he cant drive that is y i want to race him after the winter and see what happens i will have my new h/e by them and i now have a dual pass so i think i am still going to beat him when we race again
