If you're running a 13.3 @105, it should be a damn close race.

You might even beat him considering his car is auto

You will definitely win with all those mods and he's auto stock. With slicks on you should launch just as good as him maybe better and then from second on you'll rip him. IMO i don't even think it will be close.

I'm a decent stick driver. As for saying what my car "will do" I think I know. I had the same setup as Rob's at IDDVII, and ran within 2 tenths of his best and one mph, so I'd say that I'm accurate. The mods I'll have at this race are the same that he dyno'd with. I'm not just some magazine racer who throws out numbers. Rob's usually very accurate with what a car should be capable of. Regardless of which, I never asked anyone to come in here and insult me, you can kiss my a$$! State your opinion of who will win, that's fine-but don't judge me. If/when I do beat this kid, I'll be sure rub it in your face.
Your sig says, "First time to the track with a stick, and with this car." Your arguments reflect your inexperience. You know people that cut 1.9 60' their first time to the track with a stick? Wow, that must be pretty insane, did you get their autograph?

Honestly guy, grow up. You are talking ****. You told some guy with an LS1, which was the faster car at the time, that you'd kick his ass in the 1/4. And you're saying you're going to do all these mods and then your car will be bad ass. Well, I'm just going to swap my buddy's 454 into my miata and then throw a twin turbo on it, and some nitrous and like do the 1/4 in 4 seconds.

Going fast in a car has one object, money. So next time you start dumping money in your car to prove some kid in his LS1 wrong, just remember, in the end you're still a tool.

First, learn to read. I said I don't know people who've managed a 1.9 60' their first time to the track with a stick, and with a FWD. Reading > you. I am not talking ****. I'VE NEVER TALKED TO THE KID!!! He was bragging to his friends saying that my SS wouldn't stand a chance. My brother asked if I would like to race, that's it. This entire time, if you go back and read ( apparently it's hard for you), I've even said that it was be a close race. I said that from a dig or at the track, he has the advantage, and it will be close. I said that from a roll race, I personally feel that I'll have an advantage. Also, I never said my car will be bad ass after my mods. I wanted to be tuned first, as I'm untuned, and I'm too lean on the topend which is why I haven't been to the track. I haven't told the kid that, I'm still waiting for him to agree to race. Also, I'm not throwing rediculous statements out like your miata BS. The numbers I put up should be very close to accurate, and was just to give an idea of where I should be with my mods. I didn't put money in my car to prove I can beat a kid in an LS1. Regardless of how fast I am, there's always someone faster. However, whoever races me will always atleast be surprised! I think your a *****, you can't read, and you must be talking about someone else because I haven't done anything you've implied. You're just mad that you're slow, stupid, and can't read. If we were face to face, I'd slap you to the ground like the bi**h that you're being. I'd rather be a tool than be retarded.

Another note, if you correct my time to good altitude, it is a 13.0-12.9 ish @ ~107 anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard to believe a 108ish mph trap.

So you know how to spell but you can't read?! Here's the fact. The topic of this thread is actually about what you think will happen and that's it. Surely you can be smart enough to stick to topic. Again, this thread is about me racing a stock TA and what you think will happen, not what you think of me. I don't care what you think of me, and it's funny how you called me 16 when that's what I just said in a PM to you. Can't even think up your own insults. Please stick to the topic, troll.

I appreciate everyone's feedback (except mastertech's). I will keep you guys updated. I didn't remember exactly what an auto TA could run, but it seems that it will be a close race, win or lose. Take care guys.

if what you have posted is correct and the car is new to the other guy you should beat him even if it is an auto. He might not launch it...

Cool, looking forward to seeing the race.
Oh, and it's more like "witness the race, and smoke the both of you".
Take care man.
I'm currently installing 150 wet shot but I'll run N/A against you guys, it will be fun, win or lose.

He hasn't agreed to race yet-funny, he was the one that started it and said I wouldn't stand a chance. 150 shot!! Are you going for 10's? You already run high 11's @~118mph don't you? Geez.

Hi 03EB -

When will this take place?

I would love to bring some competition for your car......
I have not had my Z at the track since my LG long tubes and subsequent re-tune.

Do you have a cobalt as well as your Z06? It would be interesting to compare notes....

best regards -

Power mods:
GM Flash (which sucks in my opinion)
2.6" Pulley
GMPP Manifold
No Cat
Corsa Muffler (stock piping, just muffler ONLY)

Plus the proper supportive stuff to go along with it.

Yeah, in this thread or any other threads, I've not seen you talk crap about other people or cars so I don't know why some people are being an ass about it.

Yup, high 11s@ ~118 with just CAI and LT headers. I doubt I'll see 10s mainly due to still running street radials. I'll probably hit low 11s ~127 mph with funny juice. But I'm going to let off near the finish line so that I don't get kicked off for not have a cage.

Bring out your Z, I've raced 3 Z06s at the GIR so far and several C5s and one C6 (absolutely murdered this car due to inexperienced driver, felt sorry for the guy).

Nah, I don't have CSS but my sister does and she is asking me bunch questions about it so I signed up on few CSS sites to learn more about them.

Hi 03 -

Cool - I will be out of town for a week the end of this month - so it just depends on when you folks go to the track.

I just had LG headers put on my Z a couple of months ago - wow - what a difference.

I did 389rwhp on the LG dyno in dallas - now I need to get it to a track!

Are you running 11's on the stock F1's?

BTW - mine is EB too - I bought it new in 2001 when that color first came out (and the new 405hp ls6...)

best regards -

Yes, my 11.9 pass was with F1s street radials. I now run set of Firehawk street radials. With this set of tires, I once cut 1.88 60' time.

Sweet, I love EB color, especially at night.

Hope to see you at GIR.

Me either. I'll be going to GIR soon either way, so I'll try to email you when I know for sure I'm going. Good luck on your runs with the funny gas.

WOW! That is a great 60' time .

I really suck at the start - spin badly - 2.0's are about as good as I have done on the F1's.

Great driving there!

Having Owned A 01 Pontiac Firehawk I Can Say That If Yo Are Running 12.6-12.8
You Should Easily Be Able To Beat A Stock T/a Especially An Automatic. When I Had Mine I Ran Like Low 13's Stock And Low 12's With Mods. The Biggest Problem I Had With My Firehawk Was Traction. Unfortunately I Had To Give It Up A Few Years Later In Like 03 Too Many Problems...

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm curious, what did yours trap stock, and was it an A4 or M6?
