I have a 2.2 with Injen, CA Header, XTC 2.5 DP w/Cat and GMPP Performance Exhaust to start.

Left my parents house and was getting on 694 behind a RSX-S with a fart can (all I could see) We clear traffic and get a nice stretch of road to play around on. He waited til I gunned it; dropping it into third at 60. We went up to 100 and he had by 2-3 car lengths. We both gave each other the thumbs up and went our seperate ways.

I knew I was going to get killed, but that was my first hwy race I've done in a while, so it was good to get that rush again.

Yeah, he threw on his flashers and I looked down at my speedo and it was ~100. I got a rush as I don't drive up to 100 all that much, so it was fun to do that.

The only other thing that I saw that he had was tint and a radar detector. Probably didn't help that I rode his ass up the one ramp and then blew by him entering on the hwy! lol. Thanks for the comps about my death!

 

Looks like its an m62 upgrade for your 2.2 so that doesn't happen again

Money is tight and my cat (XTC DP w/cat) might be bad, MIGHT BE. So I may have to replace it or save up for a dash hawk so I can clear it.

 

cant win them all and I think its good to lose sometimes. It drives you to make ur car faster. It is a super shitty feeling though when someone flies by you and u know u cant do anything about it cause ur already WOT

 

Try a non Type-S i think they are still faster but it might be more of a race. Good death tho, ive had one to a Type-S as well. :/

Tint Is 20 Hp Per Window And The Radar Detec Dont Get Me Started.

 

I got spanked by a heavily modded type S and I'm on stage 2, intake, and catback. Those cars are VERY quick in the right hands. But then again, if I put as much money into mine as he had to spend, I'd smoke his ass. No shame in that loss meng.

Theres a Type-s right down the street from me with I/H/E. I wanna race him but Im gonna wait a couple weks until my nitrous is a tuned in. 75 shot should put up a pretty good fight.
