had the car for about a week. leaving my apt and i see my friend drive by in his 2000 civic si. not much done to it. fart can and sts. i think that is about it. so i go and catch up with him, and we do a couple races froma roll. still getting used to driving the car so i lost all of those. kept putting it in 4th instead of third. but we get to a stoplight and nod at each other. light turns green and i babied it thru first and a little in second ( bad wheel hop). we went up to 60 and i had him by atleast a car length. just wanted to let everyone know about my first kill in the new car. it is always a good one.

yea i have the same problem too, whenever i shift from first to second my car almost FORCES me into reverse...

 

Im not sure but i think he meant that he dropped it into fourth and not third because he said put it in fourth instead shifted into fourth

I hate 3rd gear. I go so high in 2nd. 3rd is pointless IMO

 

Good kill man, though as said before I don't know how you lost to a 2000 Si from a roll in an SS/SC.

 

i think he went down to 2nd or 3rd. and i only went down to fourth. i know i would have had him if i went down to 3rd gear.

 

give it time, you will learn how to drive the ss/sc...i sucked before as well, missed some gears, clutch slip, wheel hop...over time u will learn what to do right and what not to do...but good kill
