Got a question
So I'm hopefully getting my camaro back this weekend. Its a 3.8 with custom intake and exhaust and a beefed up rear end. What are my chances against my buddies 2.0 SS/SC
Edit: Why the **** do you have a beefed up rear end?
Oh man you wouldnt believe how much power that **** is!! **** i had the stock rear end in mine and i twisted that son of a bitch right up! Wasnt even racing just leaving the autoparts store!

Edit: I dont know why the **** its that big! Isnt that big on photobucket.
do they come in 4 lug? i was looking for a year for rims like that and the goldish color. but i couldnt find anything for 4 lugs. so i got these enikies

Well, its what i was looking for. Its just constructive criticism.
For those who are wondering, the reason why I have a beefed up rear-end is because the first one I demolished the ring and pinon system. Second of all is because I have a Garrett Gt-40R turbo on back-order that is going to be installed, and I need something to handle the power.
For all those skeptics out there, it will be alot of power. And yes, my v6 can handle it.

That makes more sense now. I dont think anyone knew you was going to turbo the car. I guess it was a smart thing since you thrashed the first one and you didn't just beef up the rear for the heck of it.
Yea lol I didnt spend 3000 on a beefed up rear end just for the hell of it lol. But I'm kinda figuring since I've got higher gearing, intake and exhaust I might have a lil bit of a chance.
Look at it this way, I have had more F-Bodies than most people and none were V6's.
The 1993-1997 LT1 will pull on a SS/SC and the same LT1 will take a 3800 by more than a full second in the 1/4.
And if you broke a rear end with a stock 3800 you were doing something wrong or really really stupid. I was running 12.89 in my 2000 Camaro SS M6 and never had one issue.
If you spent $3000 I would really hope that was for a complete rear end because a carrier gears and axles aren't worth $3000. You should have saved some money to build a transmission first.
